Short version: your learning data stays in your browser, we see almost nothing. Last updated 14 July 2026.

What stays on your device

Quiz results, scenario history, Graphdle streaks, saved graphs, settings, and your local profile all live in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device, we cannot see them, and you can wipe them anytime in Settings.

What we actually collect

Email address, only if you subscribe to Pro or join a waitlist. Used to link your Stripe subscription and contact you about your account. Never sold, never shared beyond the processors below.
Payment details go directly to Stripe (our payment processor). We never see or store card numbers.
Anonymous usage statistics (page views, feature counts) via privacy-friendly analytics with no cookies and no cross-site tracking, when enabled.
Text you type into the scenario matcher or identifier is processed to find a match (and may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for interpretation when enabled). It is not stored or used to train anything, and should never include personal information.

Processors we rely on

Stripe (payments), Netlify (hosting), World Bank API (public data fetched by your own browser), and optionally Anthropic (AI matching). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

Your rights

Ask us anytime what we hold about you (it will be: an email and a subscription record) or ask for it deleted. Australian Privacy Principles and, where they apply, GDPR rights are honored. Email pogradey@gmail.com.

Children

Graphl is a study tool suitable for high-school students. We collect no personal data from anyone using the free tier, and subscriptions are intended to be purchased by an adult.
